What we did this year : 2009.

Scott and I have had a very crazy year so I will just put in a few of the hight points. I'm going to be doing the most recent stuff first so I hope it all makes sense.

Scott and I love adventure and love to travel. We are big thrill seekers and are always searching for something new and exciting to do. Here are a few things we did this year.

In September I decided to take Scott on a five day cruise to mexico. We had so much fun and it was very relaxing. Scott loved the food, I loved the gym. We snorkeled in Cabo, did a ton of fun stuff on the ship and went shopping. Good trip for me and my honey. If we do go on another cruise, I think I'd want one with a little more adventure like, the choice to swim with sharks or something like that.

In July of this year I wen't on possibly the best trip I have ever gone on. My Mom, Brother and I (yes, I left Scott at home. He had to much work to do or something) took off to Peru for a humanitarian expedition. For ten days we worked in the El Girasol Orphanage in the Sacred Valley. What an amazing adventure. We also did a lot of sight seeing. In total, we were in Peru for two weeks.
Besides working in the Orphanage, we went to ollyantaytambo, Machu Picchu, Pisac market (coolest market ever), took shampoo and other necessities to a village right below the andes, spent a few days in Cusco, went bungee jumping while in Cusco ( second highest bungee in the world at 400 feet and, yes you jump head first and no, you are not over water. I broke my shoulder doing it) and spent a few days in Lima visiting some people that Tyson taught while on his mission there. I would love to go into detail about the trip but am afraid the information would take up way to much space. Instead, I will just post a lot of pic's. Moral of the story, I highly recommend doing this kind of trip. Best this ever.

For our 5th anniversary in June ( Oh my gosh, I can't believe its been that long) Scott and I wen't hiking in Moab for a couple of days. It was a blast and we saw a lot of really cool stuff. I just love hiking and backpacking. Oh yeah, feel the burn.

Ok, so about a year ago I did something I've wanted do to since we got married. I bought a horse. Yes, a cut little mare. I grew up riding a competing. I retired from competing when I was a junior in high school and have missed it so much so.... I wanted to buy a very well trained, sweet family horse that anyone can ride which is exactly what Elle is. We just love Elle. She is cute as a button and so much fun and I am not kidding, anyone can ride this horse. She is a sweetheart. We have had so much fun on her continue to ride her at least once a week ( three or four times in the summer).
She is blind in one eye but it doesn't stop her. She is very trusting and so much fun. Kinda Lazy at times but never to the point of frustrating. Even Grady has ridden her many times. We are so lucky to have her.

My cousin going for a ride

Scott and I riding Elle and Bugs around the neighborhood.

In March Scott and I went with my fam to Disney land. It was so much fun and a blast to watch Little Grady take it all in (My nephew). This was our third time there since we've been married ( I know. What are we, Crazy?) and have vowed not to go back until we have kids that are old enough to enjoy it.
The highlight was going on "Its a Small World". Just kidding. We hadn't been on that ride in forever and probably won't be doing it again any time soon. It's like the ride that never ends.

In January of 2008, Scott and I sold our house in Sandy and In March of 2008 we bought a home in South Jordan, Just below Daybreak. We are not in Daybreak but get to enjoy all the Daybreak pro's... Such as - Kayaking in the lake, running all the trails around the lake and through the neighborhoods, Going to the community center if we want to.
We also have an awesome view of the new temple from our back deck. Pretty fun stuff.
